Catchy title, huh? I think someone has used that title for a book. Actually, I think I have read the book! It was a “high on my list” book while I was going through my divorce 10 years ago. And wow, as I look back, I did some of my best work on me while reading it.

So what’s up with my fear today? Posting to my blog. I have been avoiding taking the plunge for a couple of weeks now. So, today I decided to “feel the fear and do it anyway!” How’s that for Bold Self Expression? Isn’t that what I’m teaching others? It’s amazing how sometimes I forget to use my own tools and apply them to my own life and issues.

So, this morning I pulled out my “Issue Tissue” form (one of my coaching tools) and went to work on my blogging fears, and here’s what I discovered. I discovered that I am afraid that it won’t be right, it won’t be good enough, and that people will talk about me and laugh. Epiphany!!!

Isn’t that what I want people to do? Talk about me and laugh (with me, of course)? So, congratulations to me for feeling the fear and doing it anyway. And congratulations to all of the risk takers out there in the world who are boldly expressing themselves “feeling their fears and doing it anyway!”
