Family Constellation Workshop with John Payne

Wednesday, July 25th, 2007

Folks, there are a plethora of tools available in the world for transforming your issues, fears and beliefs, along with a plethora of teachers and mentors to rock your world. I raise my hand as one of them!! And, my passion is sharing with you, the ones who’ve had an incredible impact and influence on my life.

Last week I am attended my 3rd Family Constellation Workshop facilitated by the fabulous John Payne, internationally acclaimed trance channel, metaphysical teacher and ancestral healing workshop facilitator of over 250 workshops on 5 continents. John’s knowledge and experience comes from his work with traditional African healers and energy/spiritual healers from diverse traditions. He blends the psychotherapeutic process and ancestral healing with a spiritual approach that is unwavering in its truth. His empathic skills, intuitive insight and compassion provide a safe and nurturing space for moving through healing challenges with ease.

I was thrilled to experience another quantum leap in my personal and spiritual evolution through the healing modality of Family Constellation work, and honored to be guided by John Payne.

Folks, if you aren’t familiar with ancestral healing work, I invite you learn more about the process and John, by visiting his website at www.familyconstellations.net. While you’re there, check out his two books, The Healing of Individuals, Families and Nations and The Language of the Soul, endorsed by Debbie Ford, Donna Eden and Iyanla Vanzant.

Life Rocks with My Family

Monday, April 30th, 2007

My Baby Sister turned 50 years old this week, bringing up the rear. For at least this year, my brother, my two sisters and I are all in our 50’s. It’s hard to believe the 4 of us have had 50 fabulous years together. Time has flown by. Wow!!

I smile inside and my heart feels full as I remember our summers at the beach together, hunting Easter eggs in the back yard, walking down the stairs on Christmas morning, fighting and making up, laughing and crying, weddings, babies, grandbabies and burying our parents. OMG…. I am crying now.

I am truly grateful for each of my siblings and am blessed to have them in my life. Even now we still get together each summer at our favorite place, the beach, to celebrate with family.

Thank you Hunt, Maggie and Paige for the memories. Life with you truly rocks!!

Family Constellations

Wednesday, December 20th, 2006

Behaviors tend to be transmitted from generation to generation. Facing and processing through patterns is the best way to stop the behaviors from being passed on to your children. What you don’t deal with will be passed on; what you are willing to face, sort out and heal will no longer infect family dynamics. The pattern stops with you!

This is a quote from one of my favorite books, Why is This Happening to Me… Again?!, a book written by the fabulous Dr. Michael Ryce. The title of this particular chapter is “Inherited Patterns.”

I am fascinated by family patterns and issues, and the fact that they are passed from generation to generation. And, I totally agree that whatever I heal and take responsibility for will also heal generations before and after me. Amazing thought, isn’t it? I love this type of work. It rocks!

I am blessed and fortunate to have a brother and sisters who openly and willingly communicate about family patterns, how they show up and how we can actively participate in healing and forgiving these patterns.

In fact, January 19-21 of next year, I am hosting a Family Constellation workshop that will focus on trans-generational and ancestral healing. It will be facilitated by John Payne, author of The Healing of Individuals Families & Nations and The Language of the Soul and the founder of The South African Institute for Family Constellations. John has 7 years of experience in the field of systemic work and has facilitated over 250 workshops on 5 continents.

If you aren’t familiar with Family Constellation work, I encourage you to purchase either of John’s books I mentioned. They are a great beginning.

Take a look at this family portrait… could this family benefit from healing? (I do hope you are sharing in my humor!)
