Amazing Grace

Monday, January 28th, 2008

Imagine all of these events happening to you within one short year:

• You go into business with your best friend. Nine months into the partnership she asks you to leave. The partnership and a life long friendship is dissolved in a mere twenty minute conversation.

• You and your husband decide to divorce. As you seek support to dissolve the relationship, you find all the literature to be thoroughly antagonistic, which is the opposite of how you both feel about one another.

• You have been diagnosed with a rare, fatal lung disease and THIS is the year, according to your doctors that you are supposed to die.

These events did occur in the life of Maureen McCarthy. They were the catalysts that compelled Maureen to examine every belief and story she was buying into. And, go on to create the most innovative and radical document being used in personal and business venues around the globe - The State of Grace Document.

Listen at “Tuck Talk” to the amazing Maureen McCarthy. She will inspire and empower you to live in a State of Grace.

BREATHTAKING - by Kate McCarthy

Wednesday, January 23rd, 2008

Maureen McCarthy is my “Tuck Talk” guest interview this month and featured Belle with Balls. She is the creator of The State of Grace Document, a profoundly innovative piece of work being used in business and personal venues all over the globe.

Maureen is inspiring, amazing, fun, bold, authentic, on purpose and as this title reads ~ BREATHTAKING.

At the age of 31, Maureen was diagnosed with a rare and fatal lung disease, LAM, that affects only women. There is no effective treatment and there is no cure.

Maureen McCarthy believes she is the luckiest woman in the world.

Her 15 year old daughter Katie created this inspiring video about her mom living with her lung disease, for her Humanities class at Evanston Township High School in Evanston, Illinois in October of 2007.

IT IS ~ BREATHTAKING.

The Juicy Woman - A Belle with Balls

Friday, January 11th, 2008

Folks I recently interviewed Andrea Amador, aka The Juicy Woman for my “Tuck Talk” podcast show. Andrea was my first featured Belle with Balls, when I launched the series back in October 2006.

Since I didn’t have my podcast show at the time, I reconnected with this delightful juicy woman to find out what she’s up to. And, to re-discover why woman everywhere are being inspired to resculpt their thoughts and bodies, trust themselves and reclaim their passion - one bite at a time.

I invite you to enjoy the delicious and yummy Andrea Amador, The Juicy Woman.

Maya Angelo - A Woman Should Have….

Thursday, November 29th, 2007

A Maya Angelou Poem for all bold and empowered women……

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE …
a youth she’s content to leave behind….
A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE ….
a past juicy enough that she’s looking forward to
retelling it in her old age….
A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE ……
a set of screwdrivers, a cordless drill, and a black lace bra…
A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE …..
one friend who always makes her laugh… and one who lets her cry…
(more…)
