EDGEWALKER - Are You One?

Monday, October 1st, 2007

I discovered an amazing new word….EDGEWALKER

Edgewalkers are people who walk between worlds. They’re gifted at seeing what’s in the invisible world and manifesting that in the visible world. They walk into the future then bring back information and ideas that are useful in the present. Edgewalkers have a calling, and courage to answer that call.

Isn’t this a cool word? I love it!

Okay, so how does an Edgewalker find courage and boldness to walk their unique path? How does an Edgewalker resist pressure from others and the world to conform and stay true to themselves?

PASSION – Edgewalkers have passion, passion about something greater than themselves. Edgewalkers have a sense of purpose and a mission that calls them forward.

WOW…do I hear a Rebel Belle boldly livin’ from passion, purpose and play?!? Why, I believe I’m an Edgewalker…..

Are you one? Visit the originator of this fabulous word at Edgewalker Blog. Be sure to let me know if you’re one too.

Put Out an APB!

Thursday, May 3rd, 2007

What’s an APB? It’s a broadcast to be on the “lookout” for a person of interest, like a suspect or a missing person. You know what? I have a funner idea of how to use the term.

What do ya think about Attitude, Perception and Belief? What if putting out an APB meant “being on the lookout” for my own attitude, perception and beliefs? What if, when something in my life felt suspect or missing I put out an APB? What if I was on the lookout, checking my own attitude, perception and belief about what’s suspect or missing?

I kind of like it. I think I’m going to add APB to the list of My New Words!!

AFFIRM-ITUDE!

Monday, March 12th, 2007

Here I go again. I have a new word and I love it. I have been pondering a catchy name for affirmations for a year now and I got one….AFFIRM-ITUDE!!

What’s an AFFIRM-ITUDE? It’s an affirmation that’s spoken with an attitude of gratitude.

And what’s an affirmation? An affirmation is a positive statement that claims whatever we are affirming, in present time, right?

And, why an attitude of gratitude? Well, why the heck not? An attitude of gratitude feels good and creates a positive emotion and vibration in you. What does positive emotion and vibration attract to you? Why, great things, of course!!

My guess is we all know about affirmations by now. We know how to write them, speak them, visualize them, carry them around on little cards, and stick them everywhere in order to remember to affirm them.

Now, do they work? That’s a great question. Over the years I have listened to and read many different perspectives on the power of affirmations. And, I’ve changed my mind about how they work, whether they work, when they work and why they work.

I’d like to ask a question. How do you feel when you are focusing on what is positive in your life? How do you feel when you think about your children, for example? How do you feel when your heart is full of gratitude for the people, things and blessings in your life? You probably feel great, right?

I know when I look at pictures of my children, my heart expands and is full of gratitude and love for the opportunity to experience my connection with them. In those moments I am filled with an attitude of gratitude. It feels amazing!

So, when an affirmation is spoken from a perspective (attitude) and emotional feeling (gratitude) that warms and expands your heart, you direct enormous power into what you are affirming. That’s power!

That’s AFFIRM-ITUDE!

No Not Punk’d…Shock’d!

Wednesday, January 3rd, 2007

OMG… I’ve been SHOCKED! No, not PUNK’D… SHOCK’D!

Ashton Kutcher is a master prankster to the stars. When they least expect it, he is there to punk ’em back down to earth.

Enter Philippe Matthews, a preacher to the seekers. When they most desire it, he is there to shock ’em to a new mindset. I’ve been SHOCKED to a new mindset!

I am so thrilled and excited to find a new body of work to study and a new mentor to bathe myself in. Step #6 of my Rebel Belle Guide to Bold Self-Expression is “When The Student is Ready…” A Rebel Belle magically attracts what she needs for her growth and fulfillment.

Well, I’ve done it again! I have manifested a model and resource to inspire, challenge and SHOCK me to a new level.

I’ve got new tools to add to my toolbox and new information to share. The body of work is the SHOCK Philosophy™, and the mentor is the Rev. Philippe Matthews.

AFFIR-QUESTIONS For Changing Your Life!

Friday, August 11th, 2006

Yesterday, I talked about the power of using AFFIR-QUESTIONS. Let’s look at a few examples and how can you use them for power and focus.

Here’s how I do it. Every morning, I wake up and go to my “coffee chair” for quiet time. I take out my AFFIR-QUESTION playsheet and go to play.

Here are a few of my questions:

• If I could have ANYTHING in the world right now, what would it be?
• What do I have in my life right now that I want more of?
• What in my life am I passionate about?
• What and who in my life am I grateful for?
• What could I do today that I’ve never done before?

For each of these questions, I also ask:

• What does that bring me?
• How does that make me feel?

This is a powerful way to jump-start my energy and my day!

I invite you to join me. Use my questions, or think of your own. Do this exercise every day for 30 days, preferably first thing in the morning. It will have a powerful influence in how you create your day.

Click here for The Rebel Belle AFFIR-QUESTION playsheet to guide you through the exercise.

What a Blesson!!

Monday, July 31st, 2006

I just made up a new word! In my meditation today, I was thinking back over my life — how awesome it is and how blessed I am. I have a great life, and the truth is, I’ve always had a great life.

At times. people have accused me of having it easy, and at times, I’ve believed them and even felt guilty about having what I want… so much that I began to question whether I really did have it easy.

In retrospect, I discovered it wasn’t about having things easy or not, it was about perspective. It was about how I viewed my circumstances. Life has thrown me many curves. Some might even call them crises. For some reason, I’ve just NEVER looked at them that way. It never occurred to me to think that my life was hard. I have chosen to look at “crises” as “opportunities.” I have chosen to look to each experience as a lesson and find the blessing in it. It is just my way.

It was like an epiphany for me. My new word is “BLESSON.” I don’t have crises in my life, I have blessons. I have blessings that come in the form of lessons.

How about you? Got blessons in your life? I’d love to hear about them if you’re willing to share.
